Description

A rifle I concepted, modelled and rendered in 3Ds Max. I have put some brief explanation of it's strengths in the text (which you should be able to read on the full size version).

Obvious inspiration came from Aliens and a few real weapons.

the scale and general design of this thing are completely off

the scope is looking right at the front block with no hole to see through it

the magazine is massive, the ejection port is miniscule, and there is no way you can fit a firing mechanism in that small space on top of/ behind the magazine

cocking handle, with no actual handle, just a groove for it on the side

having dials on the grip for optic adjustments is just plain terrible design

the underslung suffers from mostly the same faults

and what eldritch space folding magic is the magazine made of that it can fit 200 bullets that are twice as wide as 556 nato rounds
